Requirements
- Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2012 development environment.
- WinGate Development Installation installed on the test machine.
Building an example project
1. Setup your development environment
- Download the WinGate SDK from the WinGate website.
- Setup your development environment as described here.
2. Build the example solution
- Create a new project in Visual Studio using the SimpleEngineModule project in the wingatesdk/source/examples directory.
- Compile it. The build stages will setup the new module within your locally running WinGate installation, ready for debugging.
3. Test example module
- Start your local WinGate service
- Open the Dashboard and add a meter connected to the data source "SDK Example Counter"
