TCPMappingFilterProviderInterface function called when the framework wishes to instantiate your TCP mapping filter. This function allows you to return a context that is associated with the TCP mapping session that has just been created. In future TCPMappingFilterProviderInterface functions you can retrieve this context in the ComponentContext field of the TCPMappingFilterContext object.

The TCPMappingFilterContext associated with this instance of your TCP mapping filter
strEventSource
Type: LPCWSTR
The name of the event source that triggered the instantiation

Return Value

Type: void *
Your TCP mapping filter context. This is typically some other object that holds state data about your TCP mapping filter.
